In a Model UN conference, each student plays the role of a specific world leader in a scenario the students develop, and the judges, who in this conference were students from the Model UN teams at Georgetown University, The College of William and Mary, and University of Virginia students, evaluate the students’ performance during the weekend competition. The guest speaker was Glenn Kessler from the Washington Post, who is the "fact checker" for political statements - the guy who Trump/Clinton referred to during a debate. Glenn evaluates their statements for truthfulness and awards 1-4 "Pinocchios" based on the veracity of the statement.
