Week in Great Falls

Book Launch/Reading at Great Falls Library

On Friday, Feb. 26,1--4 p.m. there will be a book launch/reading of Pu-Chin Waide’s book - “Hong Cheng: Memoirs of a Turbulent Life Through Rose-Tinted Dust Storm,” at Great Falls Library, 9803 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls.

It is the story of Pu-Chin’s father from his birth and early days in a tiny village on the border of China and Tibet, to the Sino-Japanese War and WWII. A life full of change, strife and painful farewells, but through all these difficult times, there was always glints of sunshine and humor, and time for the ordinary stuff that life is made of.
