Chocolate Festival Returns to McLean Community Center

— The Rotary Club of McLean is hosting its sixth annual McLean Chocolate Festival at the McLean Community Center on Sunday, Jan. 29, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Chocolate vendors include: Seasons 52, Dave's Candy Kitchen, Fair Trade Winds, Fluffy Thoughts, Sweetbites CafĂ©, and more. Buy treats to eat on site or stock up for Valentine's Day. There will be plenty of free parking. The admission fee is $2; children age 6 and under are admitted free. There will also be a children's game room with chocolate-themed activities and games. Featured on the Festival Stage will be performances by Ukulele Phil and the Hula Kids at 1:30 pm, and bluegrass music by Mike Mitchell and the Wildman's at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Ongoing demonstrations of colonial American chocolate-making will be presented by American Heritage, a Mars company.
