Great Falls The Great Falls traditional Celebration of Lights will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, 4-6:30 p.m. at the Great Falls Village Centre Hill. Celebrate the beginning of the season with the 27th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. As always there will be holiday fun for the whole family.
The audience can listen to music provided by area students. Children can enjoy a petting zoo and pony rides (4-6 p.m.). Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive in an antique fire truck to light the Great Falls Tree. Afterwards, Santa will be in his house to meet all children who wish to share their holiday wishes. Hot cider, hot chocolate, and cookies will be provided by community sponsors as visitors listen to holiday music. To close out the evening’s events, Margaret Johnson will present a live nativity scene.

4:45 — Creche Preschool
5 — Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive to light the tree
5:15 — Forestville Elementary Ensembles
5:30 — Great Falls Elementary
5:45 — Colvin Run Elementary Singalong
6 — Live Nativity
