Given the unprecedented public health crisis, OrthoVirginia is shifting to offer urgent orthopedic care access in five locations effective Wednesday, March 25, 2020. By reserving in-person access to OrthoVirginia clinics for patients in urgent or immediate orthopedic need, OrthoVirginia aims to keep those patients out of the emergency rooms and urgent cares where they would be at heightened risk for acquiring and spreading the COVID-19 virus.
The following clinic locations will be open Monday – Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.:
Arlington: 1635 N. George Mason Drive Suite 310, Arlington, Virginia 22205
Fair Oaks: 3620 Joseph Siewick Drive, Suite 100, Fairfax, Virginia 22033
Reston: 1850 Town Center Parkway, Suite 400, Reston, Virginia 20190
Springfield: 6355 Walker Lane, Suite 202, Alexandria, Virginia 22310
These locations will see urgent orthopedic conditions such as broken bones; knee injuries; foot and ankle injuries; hand & wrist injuries; slips, trips and falls; sprains and strains, and sports injuries.
The Fairfax clinic, located at 8501 Arlington Blvd, Suite 400, Fairfax VA 22031, is a specialty walk-in clinic for patients with neck, back and spine injuries. This clinic will be open Monday – Saturday, 8 am to 8 pm.
“OrthoVirginia is here to support the safety and wellbeing of patients during this pandemic,” said Dr. Ben Kittredge, “it is our responsibility to provide those with urgent orthopedic injuries access as well as ease the burden on our emergency departments.”
Patients will be screened for potential COVID-19 exposure before entering the clinic. X-ray services are available in each office and MRI services are available at the Tysons office, located at 8320 Old Courthouse Road, Vienna, VA.
For patients with non-urgent or chronic conditions, OrthoVirginia continues to offer telemedicine visits. Patients may call 703-277-2663 to schedule a telemedicine appointment. More information can be found at www.OrthoVirginia.com.
